September 4-week kids class

• Week 1 Food Truck: Using slabs and simple clay shapes, students will build a tiny food truck, starting with a rectangle body and slab roof, then cut out and add a serving window, 4 coil-built wheels, signs, textures, and silly food details to bring it to life.
• Week 2 Handprint Dish: Using slabs, kids will press their hands into the clay and trace around your handprint. Together, you'll transform the impression into a unique hand-shaped trinket dish, decorating it with carvings. We'll then gently curve the fingers upward to create a shallow wall, perfect for holding rings, keys, earrings, and other small treasures. 
• Week 3 Pet Bowl: Using slabs, kids will design and construct a pet bowl, then personalize it with their pet's name, paw-inspired prints, textures, and decorative details. Don't have a pet? No problem! Create a bowl inspired by your favorite animal, or design a unique snack bowl just for yourself.
• Week 4 Color Day: Kids will receive all their projects and paint with underglazes. A fun, creative wrap-up to a month of awesome clay adventures!

Upon completion of the 4-week kids class, guardians will receive an email notification when the pieces are ready for pick-up.
