Refund policy
Refund and Cancellation policy
(1) For 4-week classes:
By booking our class, you agree to the following policy:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to the start of your class (your first class session) to be eligible for:
- A full refund, minus a 5% processing fee to cover transaction costs.
- Rescheduling to another month is allowed up to two times within the next two months, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the class start date are not eligible for a refund.
- Once your class has started, rescheduling or refunds are not available for any reason, including but not limited to COVID, illness, injury, or unexpected travel.
- All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to spiffy@thespiffystudio.info.
- Classes are offered in 4-week blocks and cannot be divided into individual sessions.
(2) For private events:
By booking a private event with Spiffy, you agree to the following policy:
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to the scheduled event date to be eligible for a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee to cover transaction costs.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event date will receive a 50% refund.
- If the group or any participants do not attend the event, no refund will be issued for no-shows.
- Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing at least 7 days prior to the scheduled event date. Rescheduling is only allowed once within two months of the original event date, and a $100 handling fee will apply.
- The number of participants can be adjusted after booking, as long as the minimum of 6 participants is maintained. Any changes to the group size must be submitted in writing at least 3 days prior to the event date. A $50 handling fee will be charged for each change in group size.
- Due to our regular class schedule, we are unable to accommodate any delays. All private events will start and end at the scheduled times, regardless of late arrivals.
- To secure your private event, a one-time upfront payment via card must be made through our website at least 10 business days prior to the event date.
- All cancellation, rescheduling, or group size change requests must be submitted in writing to spiffy@thespiffystudio.info within the specified timeframes.
(3) For one-time classes or workshops:
By booking our one-time classes or workshops, you agree to the following policy:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 14 days prior to the start of your class to be eligible for:
- A full refund, minus a 5% processing fee to cover transaction costs.
- Rescheduling to another one-time class or workshop of equal value is allowed once within the next two months, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the class start date are not eligible for a refund.
- Once your class has started, rescheduling or refunds are not available for any reason, including but not limited to COVID, illness, injury, or unexpected travel.
- All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to spiffy@thespiffystudio.info.
(4) For studio memberships:
By purchasing a studio membership, you agree to the following policy:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 15 days prior to your next scheduled auto-payment of subscription.
- All membership purchases are non-refundable.
- If a cancellation request is made less than 15 days before the next scheduled auto-payment, the studio will charge one month’s rent of $248 as a cancellation fee.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to spiffy@thespiffystudio.info.
(5) For featured artist workshops:
By booking our featured artist workshops, you agree to the following policy:
Full refunds are not available, as our Featured Artist Workshops involve visiting artists and require extensive planning.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the start of your workshop (first session) to be eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the class start date are not eligible for a refund.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, COVID, or unexpected travel.
- Registrations may be transferred to another person if the transfer request is submitted in writing at least 3 days prior to the start of your workshop (first session).
- All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to spiffy@thespiffystudio.info.
Transfer Policy:
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Transfers are subject to space availability, and the recipient will be responsible for any additional fees associated with the program. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing to spiffy@thespiffystudio.info.
Age Requirement
Our classes are primarily designed for adults, but we do allow participants as young as 12 years old. If you wish to book a class for anyone under 18, we kindly ask that you visit us first to ensure the class is a good fit for them.
First Class
Please arrive 5 minutes before the class begins so we can check you in. During your first class, we will provide you with the student door code, which can be used daily from 10 am to 10 pm, except during other class times.
Missing a Class
The first class is foundational to the entire series, so we strongly recommend that if you are unable to attend, you consider joining us for another month when you can attend the classes in sequence. For all subsequent classes, if you are unable to attend or miss a week, you may make it up by notifying us at least one week in advance. We can then schedule you to attend another regularly scheduled session.
