By purchasing this program, you agree to allow us to take photographs and/or video recordings of your child during class for the purpose of promoting and marketing Spiffy's kids pottery programs. These images and videos may be used on our website, social media, and other promotional materials. About this class
- Week 1 Hanging Plant Pot: Using the slab technique, kids will create their very own hanging plant pot! They’ll shape the pot using a tube mold, poke holes for hanging, and add fun textures and decorations along the way.
- Week 2 Trinket Shelf: Kids will design their dream trinket shelf — curvy, flowery, quirky, or even with secret compartments and tiny drawers! They’ll add little feet and may even sculpt miniature trinkets to go with it. This playful project blends imagination with function and creates a stand-up piece that’s perfect for display.
- Week 3 Funny Portrait: Instead of framing a picture, kids will sculpt the picture itself! They’ll create a personalized picture frame and fill it with a funny or imaginative scene — maybe a family of cats in hats or a fish tank. Holes will be added so the finished piece can be hung on the wall, making it a one-of-a-kind sculptural artwork.
- Week 4 color day: Kids will receive all their projects and paint with underglazes. A fun, creative wrap-up to a month of awesome clay adventures!
Upon completion of the 4-week kids class, guardians will receive an email notification when the pieces are ready for pick-up.
