Ever dreamed of making your own cups and plates? Now is your chance to get hands-on and create something amazing! Join us for a fun and relaxing wheel throwing and handbuilding workshop where you will craft a one-of-a-kind and functional cup and plate — perfect for display or everyday use.
- Get your hands in the clay: This workshop is perfect for people with no experience and seeking a comprehensive introduction to pottery. Participants will explore two key techniques: wheel throwing and handbuilding.
- Explore cup throwing and handbuilding techniques: Learn how to throw beautiful and functional cups that you will be proud of and use slab-building methods to handbuild your own plate.
- We have got you covered: All materials and firing services are included, so participants can focus on creating and having fun!
- Finishing touches: Our staff will trim the pieces to give them a polished, perfect finish and apply your glaze of choice.
- Pick up your pieces: Once the pieces are ready, we will notify you when they are ready for pickup (generally 3 to 5 weeks after the workshop).
The group will be split into two, with each participant spending half the time handbuilding a plate and the other half throwing on the wheel to make a cup. Each participant will get to keep both their cup and plate, and choose one glaze from three available options for each piece.
