By purchasing this program, you agree to allow us to take photographs and/or video recordings of your child during class for the purpose of promoting and marketing Spiffy's kids pottery programs. Get ready to make a mug that’s truly yours! We’ve had so many requests for personalized mugs and our students have been creating the coolest designs so we’re bringing this favorite workshop back. Whether you missed it last time or want to make another, this class is for you.
All skill levels welcome: Our workshops are designed for everyone, whether you're a beginner or a budding artist.
Personalized guidance: Our instructor will give one-on-one attention based on each student’s age and skill level.
Learn by doing: Using slabs, students will handbuild their own ceramic mug from start to finish. You’ll shape the body, design a fun and comfortable handle, and decorate your mug in your own style. Will yours be bold and graphic, playful and quirky, or simple and elegant?
Take home your masterpiece: Students will choose from our glaze collection to make it official. The instructor will apply your selected glaze, and after firing, you’ll take home a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted mug — perfect for your favorite hot or cold drinks.
This workshop is designed to spark imagination, boost confidence, and — most of all — have fun! They will be guided step-by-step through the hand-building process, all while enjoying the creative freedom from shaping the features to decorating with texture and details. Throughout the workshop, they will receive support and encouragement to explore and express their unique artistic styles!
Upon completion of the workshop, guardians will receive an email notification when the pieces are ready for pick-up.
