Join us for a hands-on and imaginative workshop where you will design your own frame from scratch, then layer it with thoughtful surface details — subtle patterns, sculptural accents, and expressive forms that reflect your style and turn everyday memories into a more intentional, artful display.
- No prior clay experience required: This workshop is perfect for beginners, so everyone is welcome to join.
- Discover the art of hand-building with clay: Using slabs, you will build and decorate a handcrafted picture frame. After shaping the base, you’ll add thoughtfully designed sculptural details — layered textures, subtle relief elements, and personalized motifs. A built-in pocket will be formed to securely hold and beautifully frame your chosen photograph, whether it’s a cherished memory, a loved one, or a portrait of your fur friend.
- We have got everything you need: All materials and firing services are included, so just bring your creativity!
- Finishing touches: Each participant will be able to keep a piece and choose one glaze from four options for each item. Our staff will apply your glaze of choice after the first firing.
- Pick up your pieces: Once the pieces are ready, we will notify you for pickup (generally 3 to 5 weeks after the workshop).
