Note: (1) This is a one-day workshop. Kids will handbuild their own sculptures, and the instructor will add the colors of their choice to bring their creations to life after class! (2) If your kid prefers to paint their own piece, we recommend signing up for a two-day kids workshop instead.

By purchasing this program, you agree to allow us to take photographs and/or video recordings of your child during class for the purpose of promoting and marketing Spiffy's kids pottery programs. These images and videos may be used on our website, social media, and other promotional materials. If you prefer that your child not be photographed or recorded, please contact us via email at spiffy@thespiffystudio.info before the start of the program.

Create your very own one-of-a-kind animal bobblehead! From playful puppies and curious cats to favorite dinosaurs and magical creatures, kids will sculpt a unique character full of personality, creativity, and imagination.
- All skill levels welcome: Our workshops are designed for everyone, whether you're a beginner or a budding artist.
- Personalized guidance: Our instructor will give one-on-one attention based on each student’s age and skill level.
- Learn by doing: Using pinch-pot techniques, students will create a bobblehead-style animal by forming a rounded head, sculpting their favorite animal features, and adding playful details. Personalize it with textures, facial expressions, and decorative elements while learning basic sculpting and clay attachment techniques.
- Take home your masterpiece: Students will choose from our collection of glazes to give their piece a professional finish. The instructor will apply your chosen glaze, and once it’s fired, you’ll head home with a unique, handcrafted ceramic animal!
This workshop is designed to spark imagination, boost confidence, and — most of all — have fun! They will be guided step-by-step through the hand-building process, all while enjoying the creative freedom from shaping the features to decorating with texture and details. Throughout the workshop, they will receive support and encouragement to explore and express their unique artistic styles!
Upon completion of the workshop, guardians will receive an email notification when the pieces are ready for pick-up (generally 3 to 5 weeks after the workshop).
