- Week 1 Flat Haunted House: Get into the Halloween spirit by creating your very own haunted house! Using slab-building techniques and loads of imagination, students will design spooky or silly houses complete with pointy roofs, twisty chimneys, crazy-shaped windows, creeping vines, and crumbling brick walls. There's endless room for creativity in this magical build!
- Week 2 Jack-o'-Lanterns: Using the pinch pot technique and heaps of imagination, students will create one or two little jack-o'-lanterns — just in time for Halloween! Students will carve the faces and create a little lid, so it can hold a small candle or LED light. It’s perfect for lighting up porches and scaring the neighbors!
- Week 3 Mug and Spoon: Kids will hand-build their very own mug and spoon set using a variety of clay techniques from shaping and attaching the base to adding decorative details. Will your mug have a unicorn handle? Or maybe you're feeling Halloweeny and want to make a spooky, creepy mug set?
- Week 4 color day: Kids will receive all their projects and paint with underglazes. A fun, creative wrap-up to a month of awesome clay adventures!
Upon completion of the workshop, guardians will receive an email notification when the pieces are ready for pick-up.
