Age Requirement: We kindly ask that only participants aged 12 to 17 register for the one-time Teen Handbuilding workshop. The studio does not accept individuals under 12 for these classes. If a participant falls outside the age range but would still like to join, please email us at spiffy@thespiffystudio.info. We’ll consult with the instructor and obtain prior approval to confirm eligibility.

Photography & Documentation Agreement
By purchasing this program, you agree to allow us to take photographs and/or video recordings of your child during class for the purpose of promoting and marketing Spiffy's pottery programs. These images and videos may be used on our website, social media, and other promotional materials. If you prefer that your child not be photographed or recorded, please contact us via email at spiffy@thespiffystudio.info before the start of the class.

- Ready to shape your style? Perfect for beginners with no experience, we will start by sketching out fun and imaginative bowl designs, then jump into working with clay slabs to bring them to life. Whether your bowl is round, wavy, animal-shaped, or has a face with personality, all ideas are welcome! Students will learn essential handbuilding techniques while creating a one-of-a-kind cereal or noodle bowl — great for breakfast, dinner, or display. Think bears climbing in, silly expressions, or your own wild idea. Let’s make your best bowl yet!
- We have got you covered: All materials and firing services are included, so you can focus on creating and having fun!
- Finishing Touches: Each student will choose a glaze from our collection to give their piece the perfect finishing touch. Our staff will apply the glaze of their choice.
- Pick up your pieces: Once your piece is ready, we will notify you when it is available for pickup (usually 2 to 4 weeks after the class).
