Age Requirement: We kindly ask that only participants aged 18 and over register for the workshop. The studio does not accept individuals under 18 for this session.
This workshop is designed for individuals who have taken an introductory-level wheel class or have equivalent experience. Please note: We do not accept students with no wheel experience.
This is a two-day workshop: Day 1 will take place on Wednesday, December 10th, from 6:30pm to 9pm. Day 2 is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17th, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Please ensure you are able to attend both classes prior to purchase. Makeup classes are not offered under any circumstances.
Ever wondered how to create beautiful, functional lids that fit your pieces perfectly? This workshop will help you master the essentials and elevate your pottery skills.
For Day 1:
An in-depth lid form guide: Get a clear introduction to lidded forms and learn how lids and vessels work together to create balanced, functional pieces.
Hands-on lid form practice: Watch step-by-step demonstrations on creating lids and galleries. Then get hands-on practice — perfect for building confidence and expanding your technique.
For Day 2:
Putting it all together: Learn how to trim and refine pieces specifically designed for lidded forms.
Creating a handle for your lid: Discover how to form and attach handles to both the trimmed lid and the body of the pot.
We’ve got you covered: B-Mix clay along with all the materials and firing services are included. Each participant can keep one lid and one vessel.
Finishing touches: Our staff will apply clear glaze to your pieces.
Once the pieces are ready, we will notify you when they are ready for pickup (generally 2 to 4 weeks after the workshop).
