December 4-week kids class

• Week 1 Fun Plate: Using slabs and handbuilding techniques, students will build the base for their very own fun and functional plate. Once it’s nice and sturdy, it’s time to get creative with decorations! Maybe your plate has cat ears, a panda lounging in the middle, or even divisions for different foods with a special section just for dessert! 
• Week 2 Spaceship: Using a slab, students will start by creating the beam of light shining down from their spaceship. While that sets, we will use pinch pot techniques to build the coolest spaceship imaginable, complete with details and textures. Once it’s attached to the light beam, we’ll carve openings so light can shine through — the ultimate out-of-this-world experience!
• Week 3 Crazy Planet: Using a half-ball mold, students will form the base of their very own crazy planet. Once the surface is ready, it’s time to decide who lives there — maybe it’s a dog planet where treats grow on trees, or a world of dancing frogs! Anything goes in this creative universe, so get ready to design a planet that’s truly one of a kind.
• Week 4 color day: Kids will receive all their projects and paint with underglazes. A fun, creative wrap-up to a month of awesome clay adventures!

Upon completion of the 4-week kids class, guardians will receive an email notification when the pieces are ready for pick-up.
