By purchasing this program, you agree to allow us to take photographs and/or video recordings of your child during class for the purpose of promoting and marketing Spiffy's pottery programs. These images and videos may be used on our website, social media, and other promotional materials. If you prefer that your child not be photographed or recorded, please contact us via email at spiffy@thespiffystudio.info before the start of the class.

This is a 2-hour Introduction to Wheel Throwing class designed specifically for teens aged 12 to 17.
- Ready to throw? Perfect for beginners with no experience, this one-time class offers a hands-on introduction to the foundations of wheel throwing. Teens will have the opportunity to explore the basics of working with clay, enjoy the creative process, and craft a ceramic keepsake.
- We have got you covered: All materials and firing services are included, so you can focus on creating and having fun!
- Finishing Touches: Each student may choose one piece to keep (if they create any), which our staff will trim for a polished finish and apply the glaze of their choice.
- Pick up your pieces: Once your pieces are ready, we will notify you when they are available for pickup (usually 2 to 4 weeks after the class).
Interested in continuing?
After completing a one-time Teen Wheel Throwing class, teens who are eager to keep learning may be eligible to join our 4-week Introduction to Wheel classes (designed for ages 18 and above). These sessions offer a deeper dive into wheel throwing techniques, including trimming and glazing.
